Vasana Danthanarayana - Senior Sri Lankan Fashion Model

Vasana Danthanarayana a versatile personality in the local fashion industry takes one step further as she makes her debut appearance on the screen in a one of a kind film titled "Ree Daniel Daval Migel" years a ago.

Starring a top character in her first movie Vasana is definitely a lucky lady with a special way about herself. As a young spinster of 22 years she has appeared in at least three Tele dramas and a number of commercials up to date.

Beginning her career as a model under the guidance of fashion experts Senaka de Silva, Lou Ching Wong and Subashini Dias Abeygunawardene, Vasana has come a long way to get into the limelight.

During her recent modelling stint she succeeded in winning for herself Miss. Venus tittle and a "Runner-Up in the Miss. Working Girl 2000 Contest."

Apart from her busy schedule Vasana also makes time as a Beautician and takes pleasure in handling " Bridal Dressing". Even when her fellow models need a helping hand Vasana is always there to help them. Her motto she says is " Team Spirit" and goes onto say that it is not always important to win a contest but it is important to have the right team.
